Tell us a little about you?

I studied Children's Nursing at the University of Surrey, and qualified as a paediatric nurse in 2015. After qualifying, I worked first on a renal ward and then in a busy A&E department, where I learnt a lot about all kinds of common childhood illnesses and injuries.

I then joined the Southwark School Nursing team, where I discovered a real interest in public health and health promotion. I also found that I really love working with children and their families within the community.

In my spare time I enjoy cooking and baking, reading, and exploring around London.

How do you see the role?

As a Primary Care Nurse I want to help children and families feel confident in understanding and managing their conditions, so that they can be as healthy and happy as possible.

No two children or families are the same, and I think the CYPHP service is uniquely placed to tailor support to individuals, and provide a holistic approach to care.

What is your hope for the CYPHP programme?

I hope that the programme can continue to grow and help children and families across Southwark and Lambeth to achieve good physical and emotional health!
