2018 Adobestock Little girl and stethoscope

The November data is in, and it shows two new records for CYPHP clinics (formerly known as In-reach clinics)!

Specifically, a record number of 16 CYPHP clinics will be hosted by GP practices in Lambeth and Southwark this month. This means that a record number of 136 local children can be offered CYPHP clinic appointments. Appointments where more children and families will be able to benefit from better access, and specialist joined-up, multi-disciplinary care, quicker, and closer to home.

The data also reflects the recent improvements mentioned by patients and practices, and the new enhanced efforts by our GP colleagues and their allocated Patch Paediatrician, are welcomed.

Recent actions taken to further improve CYPHP clinics include:

  • Patch Paediatricians and their allocated GP practices further  strengthening joint working, for example through shared learning and closer team working.
  • GPs can email their Patch Paediatrician first for advice and support, and usually a quicker, easier appointment than making a referral to General Paediatrics Outpatient Departments.
