2019 11 12 MnBChampionsNetworkCelebration

This week the King’s Health Partners Mind and Body Champions Network came together to celebrate its second anniversary, and its over 700 strong champions.

The Mind & Body champions network consists of staff who share a passion for mind and body care, education, and research across Guy’s and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust, King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, and King’s College London.

As well as highlighting the great work that champions are doing and sharing the extensive Health and Wellbeing Staff Toolkit, the evening also celebrated some of the most inspiring champions.

CYPHP was excited to hear that our very own Dr. Anto Ingrassia was celebrated for her work to develop and facilitate the Children and Young People’s Practitioner’s Skills Course. Dr Sean Cross, Clinical Director of the programme, said that the judges commended Dr Ingrassia on:

  • Sharing her knowledge and skills regarding a truely integrated approach to care for children, young people, and their families.
  • Her high level of commitment that she puts into promoting multi-disciplinary work, and highlighting the importance of effectively working across organisational and speciality boundaries.
