Tell us a little about you?
Before joining CYPHP, I worked five years in Evelina London Children’s Hospital across two directorates (medicine and surgery). I was the operational manager for busy and fast paced Intensive Care Units, as well as a variety of paediatric services. Seeing how many children require secondary care made me want to be a part of CYPHP, where multidisciplinary professionals are working together to provide proactive and preventative healthcare for children and young people before their health deteriorates and requires acute care.
How do you see the role?
As the programme’s goal is to deliver significantly better health, better healthcare outcomes, and better value for children and young people, I see myself working closely with the clinical team to deliver quality care to the children. I help to make sure the processes are as smooth as possible, and support improvements where necessary.
What is your hope for the CYPHP programme?
My hope for the programme is to continue making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people, and continue to deliver high quality care. I hope one day the CYPHP model of care could be adopted widely by others.
