To celebrate National Eczema week, CYPHP is sharing three top tips to manage children's eczema better now that they are back at school.
Our nurses’ three simple reminders include:
1. Follow your child’s Eczema management plan
Apply emollients regularly, and treat flare ups as advised by their plan.
2. Remember to take emollients to school
Make sure teachers know your child may need support to apply their creams.
3. Worrying about going back to school can trigger eczema
Talk to school about your child’s worries, so you are both aware of any changes.
We are asking other professionals to print and place the poster in community spaces (click here to download the poster). In doing so, together we can help children and young people better manage their eczema at home and at school.
