Tell us a little about you?

I have been in the NHS for almost three years. I previously worked in outpatients bookings, and then later on moved on to pathway coordination.

I am a multi-lingual cricket fan, and I also love to travel. So much so, I lived in China for seven months, and it was an experience I would recommend to anyone.

How do you see the role?

I have a huge interest in the healthcare sector, which developed from my previous roles at Evelina London. The prospect of trying to make appointments better for a patient is rare, and therefore I am very excited to be part of this amazing team which is trying to improve the way healthcare is provided.

Being patient focused rather than business focused is one of the key reason why I strongly believe this project has huge potential. My role would be to support the project team, delivering tasks that support the project into move into the ‘business as usual’ phase.

What is your hope for the CYPHP programme?

I hope that CYPHP becomes a great success, not just in Southwark and Lambeth, but also nationally. I do feel like this is a viable step towards providing great healthcare closer to home of the patients, and to make them feel valued.
