2018 05 25 PA training

Free to anyone working with children and young people in Lambeth.

We look forward to welcoming health and social care staff, school staff, and other third and public sector workers.

 The conference aims to:

  1. Increase knowledge of services, organisations, and initiatives for children and young people’s mental health.
  2. Improve inter-professional and cross-organisation collaboration in Lambeth.

The morning will consist of presentations and Q&A sessions based on children and young people’s experience of mental health and the ways we can improve this. Over lunch, attendees can visit a marketplace where stalls will have information on local projects, training, and initiatives. And the afternoon session will provide delegates with the chance to attend three different workshops, each focussing on practical steps to support young people’s mental health.

The conference is run by Maudsley Learning, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, and the Children & Young People’s Health Partnership, and supported by Health Education England. Presenters and workshop facilitators are from a range of health, social, third sector, and other organisations involved in exciting work around young people’s mental health in Lambeth.
