The Children & Young People’s Health Partnership (CYPHP) has recently been working on improving how we seek feedback from patients. We have developed a standard questionnaire, which we have piloted across all our services.
We are delighted that the feedback that we have received so far from patients has been predominantly positive, with 100% of respondents saying that they would recommend or strongly recommend our long-term condition support services. Also, 81% of respondents would strongly recommend these services.
Comments from patients and carers have included:
“This service has had a huge impact on our family and has been so helpful. The personalised care is amazing and is such an important community service.” (Parent of asthma & eczema patient)
“Just having someone listen to me and my child and doing what they can to help. [The specialist nurse] has just been great at all times.” (Parent of asthma patient)
“Friendly and targeted advice, all relevant, well explained and listened to all my questions, so helpful. Also amazingly quick at getting in touch after first diagnosis. Wonderful service.” (Parent of eczema patient)
We are also currently piloting an SMS & online questionnaire based method of capturing feedback. Full roll-out of this will begin by September 2018, and we anticipate that this will significantly increase the volume of service feedback that we receive, which will help us to make sure our services are working well for local families.
We welcome feedback from our service users at any time. If you would like to give your feedback on CYPHP’s clinical services, you can email CYPHP at or share your thoughts with the clinical team in person.
