2018 07 05 In reach referral linegraph

We have reached a record!

In June 2018, 14 In-reach clinics were held where 87 patients were seen. Also, during the month, a low rate of patients not attending their appointments was maintained (Did Not Attend, DNA rate). This is great news.

In addition, a few changes have been made to further improve the joint Paediatric In-reach programme. Our team are hoping that these changes will make the programme more efficient and help to build stronger relationships between GPs and their Patch Paediatrician.

One improvement is that all 59 In-reach eligible practices in Southwark and Lambeth have now been allocated a paediatric consultant from King’s College Hospital or Evelina London.

Why is this helpful?

GPs are now able to email their Patch Paediatrician directly if they think their patients require a referral to In-reach or General Paediatrics. GPs can also contact their In-reach Patch Paediatrician directly for General Paediatric queries.

If you would like more information, you can contact Julien ().
